I’ve now published the Duhamel Integral / Crowd Vibration Python project. It’s an 8 part project with approx 3.5 hours of video tutorial. You can access all of the video and code in your member’s dashboard now.
In keeping with the plan to have all new material available on Labs, each lecture is also fully documented over there.
This project will give you a good understanding of the Duhamel Integral approach to simulating dynamic behaviour and also some insights about crowd-induced structural vibration. What we develop in this project can be easily mapped onto human-induced vibration of other structures…most obviously 2D floor plates.
