Hi All,
After a slightly longer delay than planned, I’ve just released the shear design section of the Fundamentals of Reinforced Concrete Design course (available to Lifetime Bundle and All Access Members).
This section contains the following lectures:
- Shear behaviour in beams [32:58]
- A model of reinforced shear resistance [36:35]
- Worked Example 10: Full design including shear [33:26]
- Worked Example 11: Shear design [14:38]
- Longitudinal shear in flanged beams [18:37]
- Worked Example 12: Full flanged beam design [21:54]
This takes the course to just over 8 hours now - so it’s turning into a slightly bigger course than planned!
Next, I think we should start automating some of the calculations with Python - so the next section will be a coding-based section, since we have most of the fundamental theory covered at this point.
That’s all for now - speak soon,
Seán
