Regarding your comment at 10:25 regarding the aspect ratio, the following line appears to solve the issue: axes.set_box_aspect((1, 1, 1))

Thanks @kaboyamodimonare - yes this is a feature added more recently to matplotlib. We do actually use this in more recent courses.
