I have one query for example of pin support with steel beam (simply supported), is the roller is considered on the steel beam with slotted hole?
Hey @gowthamcivil1991, a horizontal slotted connection could indeed be modelled with a roller support. Note that this also assumes that the slotted connection allows sufficient rotation…which would be typical for a slotted connection.
