Hi sean,
Hope you’re doing great.
How can I add thermal loads (both variation and gradient)?
I thought about using the same process as for ENA in the course, but I certainly will be missing some deformations.

Hi Abdelhaq,
A good way to approach thermal loading would be to determine and apply a pre-stress to each element as a function of temperature. We cover a similar approach when dealing with element prestress in my cable analysis courses. That’s probably a good place to start.

Thanks,
Cable analysis, here I am.
