Hi Sean

Any chance you could share a literature which lists all the formulas for various derivations and case studies mentioned in this course. will come handy for quick reference and also for comparison. if you could point me to a book that does the same, happy with that too.

No problem. I actually drew from quite a few references texts when building this course. The more prominant references are:

  • Linear Structural Analysis - Thin walled structures by Ivo Alfirevic
  • Thin Plates and Shells by Marcel Dekker
  • Analysis of Plates and Shells by Philip Gould

Hi Sean, I think there was a mistake in calculating part A (Time 3:35). Should it not be
((-Frln(r)) /4piD).

Yes, you are correct! Checking my notes, it seems I wrote the correct equation there but somehow wrote the wrong thing while recording!
