Hi sir i tried to find the maximum bending moment from the other side. I got the same distance as 5.77m but the final moment i got when doing from the left side i got -64knm.

Hey, looks like you’ve made an error in your expression for M(x). The correct expression for M(x) if x is measured from the left hand side is:

M(x) = 16.67x - 2.5x^2 + (5x^3 / 6L)

This all hinges on getting the correct expression for the load, w(x) when measured from the left hand side,

w(x) = 5 - (5x/L)
