I had to find an online text version of the Piece Wise Exact method you used to implement the acceleration response, and I am not 100% sure I got it right.

Yeap…always a challenge to work out if you’ve implemented a new technique correctly!

My best advice is to use the algo you’ve written to solve a closed-form problem - something with an analytical solution. By comparing the response of your custom code with a known analytical solution, you can validate your code and be confident it’s giving correct results.

SDoF response to harmonic excitation is a good starting point.
